The Full Body Tones, known more commonly as The Tones, are a punk/pop band based in Lexington, KY. The Tones were signed to Long Island Records in 2012 and began a journey the would see the band become a true force in a genre in need of some new blood.

The Tones bring vocal harmony and a high degree of energy to the genre. They’re fronted by Cincinnati native Joe Fulton on guitar and lead vocals. Joe’s songwriting has been described as well thought out and attentive to melody. On bass, and also hailing from Cincinnati, is Craig Sullivan. Craig and Joe have been playing and writing together for years. It’s evident when listening to their compositions that they’re on the same wavelength, and it’s a good one! On drums, from Pikeville, KY, is Willy Freebody. Willy comes from a musical family. His father, Wil, has been in the music industry for over 50 years. His older brother is also a professional drummer. Willy also gained national touring experience in over 40 cities prior to co-founding The Tones.

What brought this talented group together? Joe met Willy while attending The Lexington School for Recording Arts, where Willy was an instructor and Joe was a student. As luck would have it, the school is also home to three different record labels. When the label realized the talent that Joe had as not only a guitarist but also as a Singer/Songwriter, the writing was on the wall. Joe brought in his lifelong friend and writing partner Craig, and with Willy on Drums, The Tones were born.

Since the beginning, this group of young men have had one thing in common, and thats their work ethic. This band practiced five times a week for a year before their first show. After all of the intensive rehearsals, they began touring. Florida, Tennessee, Ohio, Pennsylvania, NYC, Chicago, and anywhere in between. They’re kicking off 2015 with a West Coast tour with numerous dates in Los Angeles, San Diego, Las Vegas, and Phoenix. Hope to see you all out there!
